Job summary

Expert Technology Services is seeking an AI Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and machine learning initiatives. The role requires coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing scope, milestones, budgets and risks, and delivering executive updates.

Strong AI/ML knowledge, cloud familiarity, and enterprise architecture experience are essential, with PMP and Generative AI certifications preferred.

Qualifications

Job Summary (List Format): AI Technical Project Manager

• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives, including Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning projects.
• Define project scope, objectives, success metrics, milestones, and detailed delivery plans.
• Establish and manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and dependencies for multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Coordinate and drive execution across cross-functional teams (Software Development, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Vendor Management).
• Proactively monitor project progress, manage risks, address blockers, and resolve issues.
• Build strong partnerships with Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, priorities, and competing demands; serve as the primary liaison among technology teams, control functions, legal, and vendors.
• Deliver clear and concise status updates and executive-level reporting to senior management.
• Establish AI governance standards, operating procedures, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal frameworks.
• Coordinate risk assessments, legal reviews, cybersecurity evaluations, and compliance requirements for AI solutions.
• Facilitate technical design discussions; ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and infrastructure strategies.
• Define and track KPIs, productivity gains, cost optimization, and ROI for AI platforms.
• Build executive dashboards and adoption reporting to demonstrate business value.
• Recommend expansion, optimization, or retirement of AI capabilities based on business value and usage data.
• Required: 10+ years of project/program management, 3+ years leading Gen AI/ML projects, strong understanding of AI/ML, cloud, developer tools, and enterprise architecture.
• Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Preferred: Experience with enterprise AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Azure Foundry, Claude Code), enterprise technology adoption, and AI governance frameworks.
• Certifications: PMP or equivalent; Generative AI certification from major cloud providers preferred.
• Success measured by: time-to-onboard new AI capabilities, growth in AI users, productivity/efficiency gains, compliance implementation, and demonstrated business value/ROI.
• Ideal candidate: Technically credible project manager who can confidently engage with technical and business stakeholders to drive enterprise-scale AI adoption.
