Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in chemical engineering, materials science, chemistry or engineering physics with a strong background in advanced data science and machine learning.
• Demonstrated expertise in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics.
• Experimental laboratory experience to refine data collection and analysis.
• Candidates with advanced degrees in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering or Applied Math with relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional process engineering research, development and evaluation for semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Balance advanced data science with hands-on experimentation from concept to onsite evaluation.
• Develop predictive models from early experiments to infer physical mechanisms.
• Develop test vehicles and apply root-cause analysis.
• Analyze test data to define appropriate process limits and variables.
• Communicate technical results clearly to varied audiences.
