Job summary

Lam Research in Boise, ID is seeking a Data Scientist 3 to design, develop, and program methods to analyze unstructured and diverse big data into actionable insights. You will build algorithms and automated processes to evaluate large data sets from disparate sources, enabling data-driven decisions across Lam EI ecosystems.

You’ll collaborate with EI Dev, Product, and Global Support teams to validate functionality, support deployments, and deliver scalable analytics solutions for our customers.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Strong experience in analyzing unstructured and diverse big data into actionable insights.
• Ability to design, develop, and program data analysis methods and algorithms.

Responsibilities

• EI Application Technical Support (EIDH-Resident Apps) responsibilities: monitor, support, and maintain EI apps; perform health checks and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate issue resolution with EI Dev, Product, and Global Support teams.
• Reporting, Startup & Account Team Support: assist startups, define readiness metrics, and create reports for Lam Tool installations and customer reviews.
• Training, Enablement & Knowledge Sharing: support internal training and maintain SME knowledge.
• Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement: liaise with customers IT and Data Science teams to gather feedback.
