Job summary

Computacenter is seeking a Solution Architect for Rack Integration & DC Compute. You will lead technical discovery, translate customer requirements into standardized rack-level designs, and work with OEMs to validate compatibility for large AI data center deployments.

The role involves developing rack elevations, BOMs, and deployment workflows, ensuring manufacturability, deployability, and scalable solutions across programs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center compute, converged infrastructure, systems engineering, solution architecture, or related roles.
• Strong background in AI Data Center areas including GPU/accelerated compute, server platforms, and high-density AI infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of enterprise compute platforms, including server architecture, GPUs, memory, storage, and PCIe.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery and solution architecture for AI compute and rack integration opportunities.
• Translate requirements into standardized rack-level designs including elevations and BOMs.
• Develop and validate rack architectures, power, cooling, networking, and integration specifications.
• Define rack integration workflows from receiving to shipment and deployment.
• Collaborate with OEMs and internal teams to ensure design manufacturability and deployability.
• Support high-density and liquid-cooled rack designs and validation plans.
• Create repeatable rack designs and golden configurations for large programs.
• Support RFQs, proposals, and design reviews with customers.
