Job summary

Computacenter AG & Co. oHG is seeking a Solution Architect for Rack Integration & DC Compute to lead customer-facing architecture and deployment of AI data center racks.

You will translate GPU/server/storage/network/power/cooling requirements into repeatable rack-level designs, BOMs, and approved configurations for large-scale deployments.

Collaborating with OEMs, engineering, and field teams, you will define validation plans and handoff criteria to ensure scalable, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data center compute, rack integration, or related roles.
• Experience with AI data center compute platforms and high-density racks.
• Ability to design repeatable architectures, BOMs, and build standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and architecture for AI compute and rack integration opportunities.
• Translate requirements into rack-level designs, elevations, and BOMs.
• Develop and validate rack architectures, power, cooling, and connectivity.
• Define workflows for rack integration from receive to shipment.
• Collaborate with OEMs, engineering, and field teams to ensure manufacturability.
