Job summary

Armanino is seeking a client-focused Data Analytics, AI & Microsoft Fabric Pre-Sales Architect to join its AI Solutions practice in California. This role blends deep data platform expertise with the ability to shape and sell AI-driven transformation initiatives, leading data-driven conversations across Microsoft Fabric and related services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in data architecture, analytics, or data platform solutions.
• Experience in a client-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, OR Azure Synapse / Azure Data Factory / Power BI / Databricks.
• Strong understanding of Data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• ETL/ELT and modern data architectures (lakehouse concepts).
• Ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Experience leading client discussions, demos, or solution presentations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to shape and advance data and AI opportunities.
• Lead discovery sessions to identify business challenges, data needs, and AI use cases.
• Design and present end-to-end solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business value and ROI narratives.
• Support proposals, RFPs, and solution scoping.
• Design modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Power BI, Data Factory).
• Guide clients through data modernization and migration strategies.
• Define best practices across data modeling, pipelines, and analytics.
• Identify and shape AI use cases tied to business outcomes.
• Position and help sell: AI Launchpad workshops, AI Factory delivery model.
