Job summary

Ampere Computing LLC is seeking a Distinguished Emulation & FPGA Prototyping Verification Engineer to lead SoC emulation verification and FPGA prototyping for server-class AI cloud-native processors. You will drive verification strategies, develop test content, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality implementations.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in SoC verification, strong C/C++/Python skills, and deep experience with FPGA prototyping and HSIO interfaces.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SoC emulation-based verification expertise.
• 7+ years leading and optimizing FPGA Prototyping in a SoC verification environment.
• Expert-level debugging of complex RTL issues.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience supporting HSIO devices in an FPGA environment.
• Solid understanding of ARM and/or x86 architectures.
• Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, HBM, CXL, AMBA (AXI/CHI), SystemC, and Testbench Development.

Responsibilities

• Drive FPGA Prototyping for SoC verification firmware/software environments.
• Develop test content for SOC verification using C/C++, Python, SystemVerilog.
• Develop strategies to support HSIO interfaces in FPGA environments.
• Collaborate with architecture and design to debug failures using advanced techniques.
• Work with internal and international teams to share knowledge and quality.
• Mentor junior engineers.
