Ampere Computing LLC is seeking a Distinguished Emulation & FPGA Prototyping Verification Engineer to lead SoC emulation verification and FPGA prototyping for server-class AI cloud-native processors. You will drive verification strategies, develop test content, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality implementations.

Ideal candidates bring 12+ years in SoC verification, strong C/C++/Python skills, and deep experience with FPGA prototyping and HSIO interfaces.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of SoC emulation-based verification expertise.
• 7+ years leading and optimizing FPGA Prototyping in a SoC verification environment.
• Expert-level debugging of complex RTL issues.
• Advanced proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience supporting HSIO devices in an FPGA environment.
• Solid understanding of ARM and/or x86 architectures.
• Knowledge of PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, HBM, CXL, AMBA (AXI/CHI), SystemC, and Testbench Development.

About the Role:

This pivotal role leads significant, unique technical challenges, requiring incisive evaluation of complex data and intangible factors. You will spearhead SoC design emulation verification and FPGA Prototyping efforts for server‑class AI cloud‑native processors, ensuring exemplary performance and absolute data consistency.

What You’ll Achieve:

• Drive FPGA Prototyping efforts for SoC verification firmware/software environments.
• Develop and enable a wide range of test content for SOC verification using C/C++, Python, SystemVerilog.
• Develop strategies and solutions to support HSIO interfaces in an FPGA environment.
