Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Manager of Emerging Talent for the AI Builder Program in Chicago to lead a cohort of AI-native graduates. You will fuse people leadership with technical direction, driving enterprise-grade AI projects and customer transformations while mentoring early-career talent.

You will shape strategy for the Grad Builder Program, oversee project matching, and partner with University Recruiting to attract top CS graduates, all within Salesforce's culture of trust and innovation.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly technical discipline.
• Experience: 5+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, software engineering, or a highly technical customer-facing role.
• Leadership: 1+ years managing technical teams or mentoring early-career engineers/consultants.
• Technical Fluency: Proficient in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Java; strong web architecture knowledge.
• AI/LLM Curiosity: Practical hands-on experience or deep familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and LLM orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Channel AI-native superpowers by leveraging graduates' collaboration styles to boost delivery teams.
• Manage and mentor a cohort of Emerging Talent AI Builders with regular 1:1s and career development.
• Bridge the gap to production-grade, secure enterprise software while scaling ideas responsibly.
• Coach graduates to translate technical work into business value and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Foster belonging and long-term engagement, guiding rapid advancement paths and addressing imposter syndrome.
