Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Technology Strategy Manager based in Plano, TX, to drive AI and automation initiatives for next-generation telecom networks. You will work with Strategy, R&D, Product Management, and Sales to translate technology potential into market-ready innovations.

You will shape the AI portfolio, guide CI/CD practices, and support senior executives with clear, strategic network recommendations. A strong background in ICT and telecom ecosystems is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Telecommunications, or Computer Science; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of ICT experience with strong R&D and product management background.
• Solid understanding of Core, OSS/BSS, FCAPS, ORAN SMO, RAN, and cloud orchestration frameworks.
• Expertise in AI, orchestration, and automation solutions for telecom environments.
• Strong strategic and critical thinking; ability to identify patterns and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI and automation initiatives for end-to-end telecom networks aligned with long-term priorities.
• Champion simplified deployment and orchestration through management architecture frameworks.
• Shape the long-term AI portfolio to meet market needs and align with ownership.
• Advise on CI/CD practices for efficient Day 0/1/2 deployments.
• Provide strategic insights to pre-sales to align with customer and organizational goals.
• Translate technology advances into actionable network strategies for executives.
