Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a motivated intern to support the Technology/IT Operations and AI Automation function within the cellular networking services business in Plano, TX. You will develop tools and automation solutions to improve RAN deployment, engineering, construction, and operational workflows.

The intern will work with technical and business teams to identify repetitive processes, document requirements, prototype solutions, and deploy automation to increase efficiency and data quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify automation opportunities with RAN engineering, construction, field ops, and business teams.
• Document workflows, requirements, data sources, bottlenecks, and outcomes.
• Develop or enhance scripts, dashboards, and integrations for automation.
• Prototype AI-assisted solutions for document processing and data validation.
• Automate repetitive tasks: data entry, file organization, reporting, and checks.
• Integrate internal tools and third-party platforms via APIs and databases.
• Clean, transform, and validate operational data for automation.
• Develop test cases and perform functional, integration, and UAT testing.
• Document system designs, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Monitor deployments, investigate issues, and propose improvements.
• Collect user feedback and refine tools for usability and value.
• Maintain project trackers and progress reports with risks and next steps.
• Adhere to cybersecurity, data privacy, and responsible AI guidelines.
