Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead day-to-day delivery for AI-enabled and automation initiatives within the Reservations Experience Design & Technology team in Atlanta.

You will translate business needs into build-ready requirements and partner with IT squads to drive measurable improvements. You will own the sprint backlog, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, participate in all agile ceremonies, collaborate with stakeholders, and monitor product

Qualifications

• Must have a proven track record as a Product Owner or delivery-focused role in an agile environment.
• Experience writing/refining features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ability to translate evolving business needs into build-ready requirements and manage delivery decisions.
• Analytical, data-driven problem solving to inform prioritization and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the sprint backlog for AI and automation products.
• Translate business needs into clear features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
• Write and refine stories, dependencies, and definition of done.
• Lead and participate in agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, demos, retros).
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, analysts, and IT teams to solve problems.
• Monitor product performance and use data to guide backlog prioritization.
• Develop tactical plans to support employee safety and wellbeing.
