Job summary

Tela is seeking a hands-on software engineer to build the production platform behind AI-powered automation for complex business processes. You will work on scalable services, APIs, and workflow infrastructure, delivering production-ready code with ownership from design to operation.

In this remote role, you will translate evolving AI capabilities into dependable software for enterprise environments, create reusable infrastructure, and collaborate with product partners to shape priorities and UX.

Qualifications

Experience building robust, scalable software systems.
Strong TypeScript experience across modern frontend or backend frameworks.
Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, maintainable system designs.
Comfort working remotely in a fast-moving, autonomous environment.
Builder mindset with interest in reusable infrastructure and abstractions.

Responsibilities

Design and implement the core services and abstractions supporting AI automation.
Develop, optimize, and maintain APIs, integrations, and workflow infrastructure.
Create internal tools, libraries, and engineering platforms to boost productivity.
Own reliability, performance, security, and operational quality across the stack.
Collaborate with product and engineering partners to shape priorities, architecture, and UX.
Deliver production code and own outcomes from design through operation.
