Job summary

WorkHero is building AI-powered back-office solutions for the skilled trades. The emphasis is on turning messy, undocumented workflows of HVAC businesses into autonomous automations while maintaining human-in-the-loop oversight.

The Role sits between contractors, Senior Office Managers, and engineers. You’ll define how operations run, shape AI-enabled processes, and build automations that actually move real work—such as invoicing and admin tasks—forward for multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to map tangled operations into structured processes through interviews, doc work or flowcharts.
• Read API docs, understand system interactions and what is possible between tools.
• Lead discovery calls with owners and SOMs to surface how a business really works.
• Commit to high-quality automations with robust error handling and fallbacks.

Responsibilities

• Learn how each business runs and shape future state with a clear spec.
• Build automations and own them in production with monitoring and fixes.
• Identify repeatable patterns across accounts and inform the roadmap.
• Partner with owners during onboarding to translate needs into concrete workflows.
