Job summary

Teradata offers a summer internship program designed to provide hands-on experience in AI-enabled automation. You’ll work with Legal and People teams to map processes, prototype AI solutions, and develop scalable adoption materials.

The internship emphasizes collaboration across cross-functional partners and ongoing measurement of impact. The program lasts 10–12 weeks, usually starting in May or June and running through August or September, with exposure to enterprise-wide automation projects

Qualifications

• Academic or project experience in AI, data analytics, information systems, computer science, or related fields.
• Experience with generative AI tools, prompt design, workflow automation, or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate problems into actionable requirements.
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive business information under established policies.

Responsibilities

• Document current workflows, pain points, controls, data inputs and handoffs with stakeholders.
• Prototype AI-enabled automation solutions for approved use cases.
• Create reusable process maps, requirements, test scenarios, prompts and adoption materials.
• Evaluate outputs for accuracy, privacy, security and responsible AI concerns; raise risks to project owner.
• Support pilots by gathering feedback, analyzing results, and suggesting improvements.
