Job summary

Well Oiled Operations is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to design and build AI-powered internal tools, dashboards, and automations. You will own solution design, build, and iteration, using Claude/Gemini APIs and various automation platforms to deliver practical, shipped tools that save time and reduce manual work.

You will work directly with non-technical leaders to translate problems into working tools, delivering runbooks and handoffs for ongoing maintenance and growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping AI-powered tools or automations.
• Hands-on with Claude and Gemini APIs and data integration.
• Design of multi-step agent/workflow flows and tool calls.
• Ability to connect models to internal systems via maintainable interfaces.
• Experience with API cost management and unit economics.

Responsibilities

• Lead intake & scoping to translate problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Build dashboards, bots, and reporting tools pulling live data.
• Ship working prototypes quickly with runbooks and handoffs.
• Iterate based on feedback and real-world usage.
• Document tools and train teams on usage.
