Job summary

Created.ai, an AI-powered platform operated by eJam, Inc., seeks a Mid-Level Engineer to build and ship features across the product experience—from the browser client through our NestJS API to the Python AI services, and back to the interface.

You will work within an established architecture; a staff engineer defines patterns and a senior engineer reviews your work. Two to four years of production experience and strong React/TypeScript skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of production software engineering experience shipping to production.
• Strong React and TypeScript; built real components in a codebase and understands the type system.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship end-to-end product features across the request path, from the browser client to API and AI services.
• Implement asynchronous user experiences — progress states, partial failures and recovery paths.
• Consume and extend typed API contracts between the web client, NestJS services and Python AI services.
• Build interface components that are consistent with existing design and component system.
• Write and maintain automated tests at unit and integration level.
• Participate in code review and act on feedback.
• Collaborate with product to turn creative-tooling ideas into shippable scope.
