Job summary

Ignitium: ABX Orchestration seeks a hands-on Applied AI Engineer to build AI tools, agents, and automations that accelerate internal workflows and power client PoCs. You will aggressively leverage AI coding tools to read, debug, and own your ship, driving production‑like AI solutions.

In this role you will design reusable components, apply context engineering, and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to surface automations worth pursuing, balancing latency, cost, and accuracy while

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production AI applications with AI integration.
• Experience with prompt and context engineering, RAG, structured outputs, tool use, and agent architectures.
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (n8n preferred; Zapier/Make valued).
• Understanding model trade-offs: latency, cost, accuracy, and when a cheaper model is appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered tools, agents, and workflows used daily by internal teams.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into solutions with clear inputs, outputs, and success metrics.
• Harden what you build: error handling, logging, monitoring, and graceful failure for unattended workflows.
