Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a high‑performing AI Automation Engineer to join our CS Operations – GTM Automation & AI team. You will design, build, and evolve the AI‑driven applications and tools – chat assistants, workflow automations, and increasingly autonomous agents – that make our post‑sales revenue‑focused teams more effective.

You will partner closely with stakeholders, AI Integration, Data Engineering, and Enablement to turn ideas into high‑impact AI capabilities in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of professional experience with at least 2+ years in AI technologies.
• Proven experience building AI applications with measurable results.
• Experience in GTM, ideally in post‑sales functions.
• Strong prompt engineering and multi‑agent system experience.
• Working knowledge of Python and enterprise orchestration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve AI chat assistants and conversational AI.
• Design AI‑driven workflow automations and agentic applications.
• Optimize AI architecture and determine what belongs in prompts vs code.
• Integrate AI capabilities with Salesforce, Gainsight/Totango, Clari, Gong, Pendo, Snowflake/Redshift, AWS, and Power BI.
• Collaborate with Data, AI Integration and Enablement teams to expand AI capabilities.
