SouthernCarlson, Inc. is seeking an AI Automation Analyst in Omaha to streamline operations using Python, LLM pipelines, and data integrations. You will own the automation lifecycle from requirements to rollout, partnering with teams to drive measurable business value.

The role requires 3+ years in business process analysis, strong database and Python skills, and experience with AI tooling. Hybrid work schedule with up to 25% travel and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in business process analysis, business systems, or operations with hands-on implementation experience.
• Databases: PostgreSQL or SQL Server; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
• Proficient in Python scripting for data moves, transforms and validation.
• Experience with LLM APIs, prompt design and structured outputs.
• Daily use of AI coding assistants to build real outputs (e.g., Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Experience integrating systems via APIs, files, or platforms like Workato/Power Automate/Zapier.
• Experience with ERP or business systems; ability to identify bad data before automation.
• Ability to persuade business owners to adopt process changes and train non-technical users.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to branch/regional locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.

Responsabilités

• Map how work gets done, including repetitive and duplicated steps.
• Analyze workflows to define problems and prioritize use cases by value, impact, feasibility, and risk.
• Build Python scripts and LLM pipelines to classify, extract, match, and validate data; develop automation and review screens.
• Document requirements and own design, configuration, and rollout with end users.
• Create the business case: cost-benefit, implementation plan, success metrics.
• Test AI outputs against known-good results; perform UAT with business users; set auto-approval thresholds.
• Train users with hands-on sessions, documentation, and ongoing support.
• Monitor usage and performance; catch failures and drift; pursue improvements.
• Measure impact: time saved, errors reduced, new capabilities enabled.
• Stay current on AI tools, make recommendations on adoption.
• Own the automation backlog and prioritize what to build next.
