Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking an AI Architect to design and deliver production-ready AI solutions across the organization.

You will lead a small team of AI Engineers and occasionally pull in UX, front-end, and subject-matter experts to create ML-powered systems that scale enterprise-wide with governance and privacy in mind. You will mentor engineers, supervise 1–3 FTEs, and collaborate with Product, IT, and executives to align AI initiatives with education objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, Physics, Engineering, or related field; six years experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Python and ML libraries; AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive conception, prototyping, and deployment of ML models (NLP, recommender) across product lines.
• Leverage AWS/Azure, containers, and IaC to build scalable AI systems.
• Supervise 1–3 AI Engineers and occasional flex contributors on projects.
• Ensure governance, data privacy, and reproducible AI deliverables.
• Mentor team, align AI with business objectives and school context.
