Job summary

American Fan is seeking an AI Analyst to support the VP/GM and cross-functional teams in identifying, evaluating, and implementing AI and data solutions within defense and compliance guardrails. You will analyze processes, prototype solutions, and measure ROI, risk, and operational outcomes.

The role requires 2–5 years in data analysis or applied AI/ML, proficiency in SQL and Python or R, and experience with BI tools. U.S. citizenship NOFORN compliance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data-related field; Master’s preferred.
• 2–5 years in data analysis or applied AI/ML in regulated environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R; BI tools experience.
• Knowledge of ML concepts and model evaluation.
• Understanding of data governance and security in defense contexts.
• Ability to translate business problems into analysis and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify AI and data opportunities.
• Collect, clean, and analyze data to support AI model development.
• Build dashboards, reports, and metrics to measure AI impact.
• Run feasibility assessments and proofs-of-concept for AI tools.
• Document AI use cases, data sources, risks, and controls.
• Partner with IT, data engineering, and security for data access guardrails.
• Support training and change management with documentation and demos.
