Job summary

TIAA is seeking an Agentic Engineering Specialist to design and build the AI-driven backbone of our enterprise data estate. This hands-on role targets a hardcore engineer with real-world AI experience bridging applied AI and production systems engineering.

You will design intelligent agents, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered capabilities across graph, vector, and document databases, ensuring production-grade quality with robust testing and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Experience with multiple database types: graph, vector, document, and relational databases.
• University degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI agents and agentic workflows in production.
• Synthesize data across graph, document (MongoDB), and vector sources into coherent outputs.
• Develop memory/context management for LLM apps and multi-turn state handling.
• Engineer robust agent iteration and self-correction loops.
• Build and optimize RAG architectures using LangChain/LangGraph.
