Job summary

TIAA is seeking an Agentic Engineering Specialist to design and build the AI-driven backbone of our enterprise data estate. This hands-on role targets a hardcore engineer with real-world AI experience, operating where applied AI meets production systems engineering.

You will design and ship intelligent agents across heterogeneous data landscapes, bring engineering rigor, and drive production deployment of LLM-enabled capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience with graph, vector, document, and relational databases.
• University degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI agents and agentic workflows into production environments.
• Design systems that synthesize data across graph, document, and vector sources.
• Develop memory and context management strategies for LLM applications.
• Engineer agent iteration and self-correction loops.
• Build and optimize RAG architectures using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Apply expertise in graph query languages, data modeling, and performance tuning.
