Job summary

FuelCell Energy is seeking a highly technical AI Engineer, Agentic Systems, to design, build, and deploy AI agents and enterprise-grade AI capabilities across corporate, manufacturing, and OT environments. This hybrid role is based in Danbury, CT with onsite collaboration to ensure secure, reliable, and adopted solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, or a related discipline.
Strong experience with AI/ML engineering and production deployments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows.
Develop LLM applications using RAG, prompt engineering, and tool calling.
Maintain data pipelines, vector stores, and enterprise connectors.
Ensure AI solutions meet security, governance, and cost requirements.
Lead documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
