Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced agent AI Software Architect to design and implement AI Agent Control, including tool usage, state management, environment control, policy definition, and multiagent APIs.

You will collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure AI solutions while mentoring engineers and supporting business development activities. EY offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in EE, CS or Math.
• 5+ years in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with multi-agent systems and secrets management.
• Familiar with AI native development tools like Cursor and Claude Code.
• Proficient in Python, Bash, TypeScript and Go/Rust/Java.
• Knowledge of AI Native design processes and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design architectures for agent identity and authentication in large scale multi-agent enterprise systems.
• Design of post training and tuning/customization environments.
• Design of synthesis models for AI open source models.
• Implement and test these architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human designed evals.
• Design comprehensive AI Agent control frameworks.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI Native design process.
• Assess emerging agent authorization architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams to ensure balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development activities for emerging technology.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Hands on development of advanced AI capabilities in agentic control.
