Job summary

Xcel Energy is offering an exciting summer internship with the Enterprise AI Enablement team in Minnesota. The intern will help employees adopt and scale AI technologies, develop training materials, and assist with learning content.

You will collaborate with Copilot champions and AI leaders to identify new ways to boost productivity and streamline processes. The role covers workshops, success-story collection, and analytics of usage data, with opportunities to contribute to AI resources and

Qualifications

Current student or higher.
Enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in CS, Software Engineering, IT, MIS, Data Science or related fields.
Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) and commute to the designated work location in-person.

Responsibilities

Assist with AI adoption and employee enablement programs.
Help develop training materials, guides, communications, and learning content.
Support AI workshops, demonstrations, and employee engagement activities.
Collect and document AI success stories and business value outcomes.
Analyze usage and adoption data to identify trends and opportunities.
Support ongoing improvements to AI resources, websites, and knowledge repositories.
