Job summary

Xcel Energy in Colorado is seeking an intern to support Enterprise AI Enablement initiatives, helping employees adopt AI and improve productivity. You will work with Copilot Champions and AI leaders to measure impact and share success stories.

The role offers a May 24, 2027 start, a hybrid in-person/remote work policy, and opportunities to learn across business units. Strong analytical skills and interest in AI are valued.

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in CS/SE/IT/Data Science/Math/Statistics/Business Analytics
• Able to work full-time during summer (up to 40 hrs/week) or part-time during school year (up to 20 hrs/week) and commute to the designated work location in-person per hybrid policy

Responsibilities

• Assist with AI adoption and employee enablement programs.
• Help develop training materials, guides, communications, and learning content.
• Support AI workshops, demonstrations, and employee engagement activities.
• Collect and document AI success stories and business value outcomes.
• Analyze usage and adoption data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Support ongoing improvements to AI resources, websites, and knowledge repositories.
