Job summary

JBT Marel Corporation is seeking a Senior On-site Field Tech to monitor performance, train customer AGV technicians, and document unresolved issues during HyperCare. The role requires travel to client sites and working 12 consecutive days onsite with rotating shifts.

You will work with the HyperCare lead and a full-time onsite senior technician to troubleshoot AGV systems, ensuring readiness for handover and alignment with project scope.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience with AGV product lines.
• Familiar with diagnostic tools: multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering iron.
• Strong reading and interpretation of technical documents.
• Mathematics and geometry for calculations.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, SQL; knowledge of Syteline or similar MRP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document system performance onsite.
• Train onsite AGV techs on recovery procedures.
• Document unresolved issues for senior tech.
• Oversee customer readiness to take over support after HyperCare.
• Assist HyperCare lead in documenting readiness and gaps.
• Collaborate with on-site senior technician to troubleshoot AGV issues.
