Job summary

Paylocity is seeking workers for seasonal spring planting and fall harvest periods. The role involves loading and delivering agricultural products, fueling the supply chain, and performing routine equipment maintenance at the location in Kentucky.

Candidates should have or be willing to obtain a Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, plus a valid DOT medical certification. The position emphasizes safety and compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Prefer Class A CDL driver's license (will assist with obtaining one).
• Maintain a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain required DOT medical certification and insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fill anhydrous tanks and help deliver them to customers.
• Load seed and chemicals for customers.
• Load and deliver fertilizer to customers' sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and strive for CSA scores.
• Follow safety policies and observe traffic laws and OSHA regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance items to supervisor.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the Location Manager.

Description

In this position, the team member will will be temporarily employed during the spring planting and/or fall harvest seasons.

Possible Duties include:

• Fill anhydrous tanks, and help deliver them to the customers.
• Load seed and chemicals for customers.
• Load and Deliver Fertilizer to customers sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores.
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Assist with other duties assigned by the Location Manager

Requirements

• Prefer Class A CDL driver's license (will assist with obtaining one)
• Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
