Keystone Cooperative, Inc. seeks a CDL driver to operate Class A or B trucks (Ag CDL acceptable) and deliver agronomy products to customers, while serving as a backup to Applicators as needed.

In addition to driving, the role supports product receiving, inventory recording, and general facility maintenance, with emphasis on safety and timely communication with management. Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the appropriate CDL with required

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CDL Class A or B preferred, Ag CDL with endorsements acceptable.
  • Overtime required during peak season.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A/B or Ag CDL vehicle to deliver agronomy products.
  • Assist with outbound and inbound Agronomy products.
  • Ensure safety compliance.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance and facility grounds upkeep.
  • Communicate daily activities to management.
  • Prepare and maintain records per regulations and company procedures.
  • May serve as backup to Applicators.
  • Provide cross-unit support to align objectives.

Job Description
Position Overview

The purpose of this position is to operate a Class A, B, or Ag CDL vehicle to safely deliver products to customers while serving as a backup to Applicators as needed. This role supports overall operations through product receiving and delivery, lot and grounds maintenance, equipment compliance, and other duties that contribute to the efficient operation of the facility.

Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to

  • Assist with outbound and inbound Agronomy products.
  • Ensure safety compliance.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds.
  • Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments to management.
  • Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
  • May assist in measuring inventory of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicals.
  • May serve as a backup to Applicators.
  • Provide support across multiple business units, fostering collaboration, aligning priorities, and driving consistent execution of organizational objectives.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior ag experience a plus
  • Required overtime as the season demands
  • Basic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and judgement skills
  • Possess a positive attitude, high energy, and focused attention to detail
  • Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and team player attitude
  • Territory knowledge a plus
Education and Experience
  • High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience.
  • Must hold one of the following: Class A or B CDL preferred, or Ag CDL, with required endorsements.
  • Valid driver's license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy.
Physical Requirements
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.The employee needs to stay in good physical condition to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location.
