Job summary

Central-Farm-Service seeks a seasonal team member to assist during spring planting and fall harvest. The role involves handling anhydrous tanks, loading seed and chemicals, and delivering fertilizer to customer sites.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, complying with DOT regulations, and ensuring safety policies are followed. A Class A CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements is preferred, with DOT medical certification and insurability requirements maintained.

Qualifications

• Prefer Class A CDL license (will assist with obtaining one).
• Maintain CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain DOT medical certification.
• Maintain insurability requirements per insurance guidelines.

In this position, the team member will will be temporarily employed during the spring planting and/or fall harvest seasons.

Possible Duties include:

• Fill anhydrous tanks, and help deliver them to the customers.
• Load seed and chemicals for customers.
• Load and Deliver Fertilizer to customer’s sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores.
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Assist with other duties assigned by the Location Manager

Requirements

• Prefer Class A CDL driver’s license (will assist with obtaining one)
• Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
