Job summary

Gold Star FS, Inc is seeking a Crop Specialist to develop customers through marketing of crop inputs and services to maximize profitable sales in Lyndon, IL. This role focuses on marketing plans, territory growth, and agronomic recommendations to support customer success.

The position requires an associate’s degree in agriculture/marketing/business and 2+ years of related experience, with travel and driver’s license as standard requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business, or equivalent, plus 2+ years of related work experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record.
• Must be able to obtain certifications in agronomy (CCA/CCS/CPAg) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies to generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.
• Utilizes targeted marketing and FS interview road map to call on patrons and prospects.
• Develops territory knowledge and analyzes competition to stay current in the market.
• Provides agronomic recommendations and coordinates product delivery and service schedules.
