Job summary

Gateway FS, Inc. is seeking a Crop Specialist to develop customers by marketing crop inputs, fertilizer, crop protection, seeds, and related services, aiming to maximize profitable sales in the Fults, IL area.

The role requires implementing marketing plans, developing territory strategies, providing agronomic recommendations, coordinating product delivery, and maintaining customer credit terms and service quality.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in agriculture, marketing, or business required.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience in production agriculture preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Implements marketing plans and develops sales strategies to generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.
• Provides value-added agronomic products, services, and recommendations to patrons and prospects.
• Schedules product delivery and application to patron locations.
• Maintains credit worthiness of customers and prepares sales contracts.
