Job summary

Gateway FS, Inc seeks a skilled sales and agronomic support professional to drive profitable sales in an assigned Illinois territory. You will assist with customer service, create value-added recommendations, and support marketing programs to promote growth.

Responsibilities include coordinating deliveries, soil testing, and crop scouting while maintaining thorough record keeping and close collaboration with the Location Manager.

Qualifications

• Degree in agriculture, marketing or business-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to generate sales in an assigned territory.
• Must be able to travel and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Meet customer service expectations under guidance of Crop Specialist and Location Manager.
• Develop cropping programs with focus on record keeping and customer programs.
• Analyze territory and competition to maintain market knowledge.
• Present value-added agronomic products and recommendations to patrons and prospects.
• Schedule product deliveries, soil tests, crop scouting and related programs.
