Job summary

Insight FS is seeking an Exploring Ag Agronomy Intern for our Central, WI location. This internship provides hands-on learning in agronomy operations, field research, and customer interactions under location management guidance.

You will train across crop nutrition, protection products, and equipment maintenance, while gaining exposure to ordering and inventory control. Applicants must be pursuing a related degree or certificate, be able to obtain a CDL and commercial applicator license,

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification at time internship begins.
• Ability to obtain CDL and commercial applicator license with endorsements.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required.
• Ability to travel independently, including overnight travel.
• Must be able to lift 51–70 pounds and work in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers to build professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
