Job summary

Insight FS in Wisconsin seeks an Agronomy Operations intern to learn the foundations of our agronomy services. Under location management, you will gain hands-on experience in field operations, equipment maintenance, and building professional relationships with FS locations and customers.

You will train in crop monitoring, nutrition and protection product application, and gain exposure to ordering, receiving, and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a college, technical college or university in good academic standing.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding and experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
