Job summary

Insight FS invites applications for an Exploring Ag Agronomy Intern position in South Central, WI. The role offers hands-on work in agronomy operations, field monitoring, and product application under location management guidance.

You will gain knowledge of inventory, ordering, and equipment use while traveling to FS locations and building professional relationships with customers. CDL and applicator licensing readiness is required as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification in a relevant program.
• Ability to obtain CDL and commercial applicator's license with required endorsements.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Willing to travel and work independently in varying weather conditions.
• Strong communication and customer focus skills.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers, building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Learn ordering, receiving, and inventory control processes.
