Insight FS in Wisconsin is seeking an Exploring Ag Agronomy Intern to learn agronomy operations and support field activities under site management. You will gain hands-on experience in field operations, equipment maintenance, and customer-facing activities while observing crop scouting and product applications.

The internship emphasizes safety, learning core agronomy functions, and developing industry readiness, with opportunities to travel to multiple FS locations within the region.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a college, technical college, or university in good standing.
• Must be able to obtain CDL and commercial applicator license with endorsements and maintain a valid medical card.
• Willingness to travel and lift heavy loads as part of field operations.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit locations and customers to build professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technologies for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
