Job summary

Keystone Cooperative in Missouri is seeking Crop Technician Interns to perform field-based diagnostic tasks during the growing season, including scouting, sampling, UAV data collection, and irrigation-related observations. You will support the Ag Tech team by gathering data and assisting with timely decisions.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, strong organization, self-motivation, and a willingness to travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Agronomy students preferred, but any student with interest in agriculture will be considered.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Scout fields and report weeds, pests, growth stages, and anomalies.
• Perform UAV flights to collect imagery and data.
• Collect tissue samples and perform soil moisture probing.
• Conduct soil sampling and nitrate testing for in-season nutrients.
• Organize field signs; travel territory; balance field work and training.
• Flexible schedule and weekly professional development.
