Job summary

TIMAC AGRO USA in Virginia seeks a field sales consultant to build relationships with growers, educate customers on our soil and plant nutrition products, and drive sustainable agricultural results. You will listen to needs, tailor recommendations, and become a trusted advisor who helps growers improve yields and profitability.

You will travel within your territory, conduct field demonstrations, collect data, present outcomes at meetings and events, and develop a proactive sales plan to expand

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Sales experience or motivation to learn.
• Vision to develop and execute a strategic plan.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture.
• Ability to build reliable relationships.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with growers and become their trusted advisor.

What will you do?

• Build relationships with growers and become their trusted advisor.
• Teach growers and retailers about Timac products and how our technologies can help them become more profitable and sustainable.
• Actively listen and understand customer concerns, needs and preferences.
• Travel within your assigned territory meeting prospective and current customers and introduce our products.
• Set up field demonstrations and collect data from them to generate future sales.
• Represent Timac at growers’ meetings and industry events.
• Develop your sales strategy to introduce our products to customers within your assigned area.

Requirements

What will it take?

• A bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or a related field or equivalent experience.
