Job summary

Timac is seeking a field-based Agricultural Sales Representative to build trusted advisor relationships with growers in the Illinois territory. You will educate growers and retailers on Timac products and technologies, listen to their concerns, and tailor solutions that meet their needs.

You will travel within your assigned territory to conduct field demonstrations, collect data, and represent Timac at growers' meetings and industry events while developing and executing a strategic sales plan to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related field or equivalent experience.
Sales experience or motivation to learn.
Vision and drive to develop a strategic plan and execute.
Passion for sustainable agriculture.
Ability to build and maintain relationships based on reliability and trust.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with growers and retailers while communicating product knowledge.
Teach growers and retailers about Timac products and technologies.
Listen actively and understand customer concerns, needs and preferences.
Travel within the assigned territory to meet prospective and current customers and introduce products.
Set up field demonstrations and collect data to generate future sales.
Represent Timac at growers’ meetings and industry events.
Develop a sales strategy to introduce products to customers within the assigned area.
