Job summary

Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC in Illinois is seeking an Operations Manager to identify process improvements, boost productivity, and reduce costs at the Streator location. You will design procedures, manage inventory, and support branch leadership.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or technical certificate, 3 years of agricultural operations or branch management, and strong leadership. Travel up to 10% and a valid U.S. driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical school certificate is required.
• Three years of operations, sales or branch management experience in the agricultural field is required.
• Leadership skills including supervising a five to ten member team is required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and improves practices to lower average inventory shrinkage costs.
• Ensures fertilizer freight is captured at the correct cost center and trains the branch team.
• Serves as a resource to branch leadership and assists with specific improvement activities within the branch.
• Provides guidance to locations on the best usage of flat storage and inventory management tools.
• Manages total inventories relative to the best taxable position and improves invoicing accuracy.
• Supports seed group in managing long-term seed inventory and capital/lease decisions.
• Gives direction on inventory management and conducts regular reporting.
• May operate a company vehicle and ensures reliable attendance per policy.
