Job summary

AgWest Farm Credit is seeking a Relationship Manager I or II to join the Montana Lending and Insurance team in Billings. This full-time role reports to the SVP, Lending and focuses on timely credit classification and proactive portfolio management.

The position offers a base salary with incentive potential and a path for growth from Level I to Level II, plus a one-time home office stipend and hybrid work flexibility after training. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance or equivalent.
• Ability to travel to perform duties.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal workgroups assuring annual analysis and confirmation of appropriate credit classification.
• Maintain effective relationship management including analyzing, interpreting, and presenting financial information and meeting with and negotiating terms with assigned accounts.
• Classify loans and loan data attributes including recommended charge-offs/reserves, cash income accounting and allowances on assigned loans, report portfolio quality and activity.
