Job summary

Yosemite Farm Credit is seeking an Associate Counsel to join the Administration South office in Turlock, CA. This full-time role provides legal counsel on agricultural finance, real property, employment, privacy, and governance issues, and assists in overseeing litigation and loan documents.

Under the supervision of the Executive Vice President - General Counsel, you will work with outside counsel, ensure regulatory compliance, and help develop business practices of the highest integrity.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and active California State Bar license.
• Experience level: 0–5 years in relevant legal work.
• Experience in agricultural finance, contract drafting/review, employment or privacy law preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel, advice, and analysis on a wide range of issues including agricultural finance, real property, employment, privacy, governance, and contracts.
• Assist in overseeing litigation and loan documents; coordinate with outside counsel.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts and develop business practices with integrity.
