Job summary

PrairieLand Partners, LLC is seeking a Service Advisor to be the front line of contact for customers at the branch in Kansas. You will ensure clear communication with AVE-PLP service teams to meet customer needs and report to the Service Manager.

You will schedule service, quote repairs, open work orders, coordinate with technicians, collect payments, and help drive department goals and service quality. Strong customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-line customer contact and service environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and service staff.
• Ability to schedule service appointments and collect payments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact for the location’s Service Department.
• Assist with technical requests from service technicians and customers.
• Communicate with customers to schedule service and collect payments for services rendered.
• Help service technicians improve labor performance by facilitating parts, tools, training, and scheduling.
• Open work orders, look up/add job codes for technicians, and manage until invoiced.
• Schedule and assign jobs according to skills and knowledge.
• Review work orders for completeness before billing.
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order.
• Quote service work and sell needed repairs to customers.
• Submit warranty and Product Improvement Program (PIP) claims on time.
• Develop and monitor Service Department processes to ensure satisfaction.
• Lead accountability areas for annual Service Department goals and budget.
• Coordinate customer clinics, field days, and related events.
• Assist with supervising and mentoring junior staff.
