Job summary

Lyons CSD is seeking an Agriculture Education/CTE Teacher to deliver a broad curriculum in agricultural sciences, technology, and leadership. You will develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and collaborate with staff to support diverse learners.

The role requires adapting instruction to individual needs, integrating technology, and maintaining thorough records in line with district expectations.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS provisional or permanent certificate in Agriculture Education/CTE.
• Demonstrates ability, energy, and maturity to meet school demands.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad curriculum in agricultural sciences, technology, and leadership.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum; document prep.
• Use diverse instructional strategies to meet varied learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust teaching plans accordingly.
• Coordinate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Incorporate technology to enhance learning and classroom efficiency.
• Maintain records and communicate progress to students and families.
• Create a positive classroom environment with clear rules and procedures.
