Job summary

The Lyon County School District is seeking a Career and Technical Education Teacher to deliver CCSS-aligned instruction in a licensed CTE program. The teacher will foster a positive learning environment, align lessons to district curricula, and monitor student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess and be able to acquire a Nevada teaching license in the relevant subject area.
• Minimum qualifications align with LCSD vacancy announcement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secondary CTE instruction aligned to Nevada and CCSS.
• Maintain a positive, orderly classroom and support district goals.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with IEPs and related mandates.
• Collaborate with administration, staff, parents, and community.
• Maintain accurate records in PowerSchool.
