Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit is seeking an Ag Relationship Manager in Meadville, PA to serve farmers and agribusinesses with tailored financial solutions. You will develop credit-worthy relationships, analyze data, and provide loan strategies that support sustainable growth in agriculture.

You will work with a regional team to originate and manage a diverse portfolio, travel to clients as needed, and promote related services while upholding regulatory standards and Horizon's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, agriculture, economics, or finance.
• Up to eight years of related experience in sales or commercial lending.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication abilities.
• Knowledge of agricultural lending and financial products.
• Ability to travel and manage a portfolio with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business by pursuing individual and business customers in the community.
• Expand relationships by matching bank products to customer needs.
• Gather and analyze credit data using the five factors under differential analysis.
• Determine credit risk and set/renegotiate terms.
• Communicate decisions to loan applicants and originate loans under delegated authority.
• Service loans in portfolio and monitor quality; periodic outreach to customers.
• Promote solutions and maintain client relationships.
