Job summary

Horizon Farm Credit is seeking an experienced Corporate Loan Officer to lead complex agribusiness lending, source relationships, and shape portfolio strategy. You will manage a portfolio of large, sophisticated borrowers and work with senior leadership to align credit decisions with risk appetite and strategic goals.

The role offers a hybrid work schedule after 6 months and may be based in Mechanicsburg, Mount Joy, or Butler, PA. Travel to meet members and referral partners is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, agriculture, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of commercial or corporate lending experience, including large, complex credit relationships.
• Experience in agriculture or agribusiness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a pipeline of agribusiness lending opportunities across Horizon Farm Credit’s footprint.
• Lead sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and ongoing management of corporate credit relationships.
• Collaborate with Corporate Underwriting on complex financial analysis and risk ratings.
• Represent Horizon Farm Credit in industry events and maintain a high level of professionalism.
• Operate with autonomy while leveraging internal resources to deliver a superior member experience.
